Jojoba For Makers

When I started my herbal skin care product business in 2015, HobaCare Jojoba extract was the only jojoba I wanted to use in my products. In fact, HobaCare Jojoba was the only jojoba extract I had ever used myself, knowing it was a local Maine product and loving from first drop how it felt on my skin. It was only after I joined The Original Jojoba Company last year as Director of Strategic Growth that I tried other jojobas to compare. The difference really is astonishing.

Jojoba and the Oncology Patient

We hear from clients often about the wonderful benefits of jojoba, one area that we hear more and more about is its benefits for oncology patients. Our jojoba is 100%, we do not use chemicals to extract more jojoba from the seed or to remove anything from the jojoba. Our jojoba is a first press quality, we also do a light pressing, which produces less jojoba, but a higher quality jojoba. The result is a very pure form of jojoba, most of our customers can tell a difference between our jojoba and other jojoba.

What Makes Our Jojoba Different?

Our customers tell us that they can tell a difference between our jojoba and other brands of jojoba. What makes ours better? For the past 20 years, our focus has always been on quality. We continually work with our growers and processors to make sure our jojoba meets our exacting standards. When you try our jojoba you will notice a difference, it goes on smoothly, has only a slightly nutty smell, and it absorbs quickly into the skin leaving no tacky residue.

Laundering Directions for Jojoba Spills

Jojoba’s non staining quality is very important to our clients. We receive many comments on how important this quality is. Massage therapists love that it doesn’t stain the sheets and doesn’t cause a rancid smell after a year. Others love that it doesn’t stain their clothing if they accidentally spill it or put too much on.
When used properly, our jojoba will stay in the skin. If it is coming out on linens and clothing, you are very likely using too much. Try reducing the amount of jojoba being used to reduce skin of jojoba transferring to fabric.
Our jojoba launders out of natural fabrics with the use of hot water and a good detergent. For synthetic and dyed fabrics we sometimes use a pre-wash. If you have combined oils, lotions, creams or essential oils with our jojoba, they could the cause stains. Also, and especially for massage therapists, if you applied lotion or cream to the skin prior to the massage, those substances could cause staining.

After more than 20 years of practice I have used numerous products. The Jojoba Oil is superior to any and all.

There are some Maine products that serve us well through the sweltering days of August to the frigid days of January and every day in between. Jojoba is one of them!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I have had the pleasure of working with your excellent Jojoba for 11 years as a massage therapist and also for personal use. I have occasionally tried other highly regarded massage oils and lotions over the years but always come back to your product. It is simply the best!

I just wanted to email to say that I'm so in love with Jojoba.

I love your stuff. I've been using it for years and refuse to use anything else. I've tried them all. Your jojoba, is by far, the best available.

I've ordered jojoba before and your jojoba is leaps and bounds above any other. I could immediately feel the difference in the way it looks, smells & feels on my skin. The first thought in my head was that this is truly an elegant product. I'm glad I purchased it.

I also feel good that by using your product I'm doing everything I can to protect the new mother and delicate new life in my care - no chemicals, preservatives, or pesticides here, thank you very much.

The very best thing about jojoba is that is does not become rancid and aids in the integrity of essential oils.

Every one of your claims are true - the lack of staining and smell, the affinity with the skin, and my clients love that they don't get up from the table feeling like greased pigs (my words). Of course, as a massage therapist, none of that would matter if the grip and glide weren't perfect... and they are.
