We hear from clients often about the wonderful benefits of jojoba, one area that we hear more and more about is its benefits for oncology patients. Our jojoba is 100%, we do not use chemicals to extract more jojoba from the seed or to remove anything from the jojoba. Our jojoba is a first press quality, we also do a light pressing, which produces less jojoba, but a higher quality jojoba. The result is a very pure form of jojoba, most of our customers can tell a difference between our jojoba and other jojoba.
Blog - Category: 101 Uses For Jojoba
Last year we started our Jojoba 101 series in which we chronicle all the variety of things jojoba can be used for besides skin care. This week it was time to season all the wooden utensils in the kitchen, so we thought it was fitting to share this particular use. Jojoba makes a fantastic conditioner and protector for unsealed wood. It is great for use on kitchen utensils because jojoba is safe enough to eat (though we don't recommend actually ingesting jojoba).
If you’re looking to minimize toxic ingredients in your skincare and streamline the products you use, consider using jojoba as your makeup remover. In fact, jojoba is such an effective makeup remover that the Blue Man Group uses it. One our customers tells us that her eyelashes are longer and fuller now that she is using jojoba as her eye makeup remover. Pure jojoba has many fantastic benefits for the skin, which make it the ultimate makeup remover.
Lotion bars look like bars of soap, but they are a solid form of lotion. They are extremely useful on extra dry skin and for protecting skin from detergents and overwashing. Beeswax in the mix adds a waterproof barrier to the skin, yet still allows the skin to breathe. Here at Jojoba, Sally recommends using it before heading out to work in the garden. She says it makes it much easier to get your hands clean when you're finished with garden chores.
One of the things we love about jojoba is its versatility, which exactly why we started the 101 uses for Jojoba campaign. With Father’s Day just around the corner, we decided to focus on using jojoba for shaving, though these tips aren’t just limited to facial hair.
Technically jojoba is a wax ester and not an oil but we’ll call it an oil in this post to avoid confusion because Beard Oil is the name of the type of product we're discussing.
If you have a beard you’ve probably heard about beard oil and if not - where have you been? Beard oil is perfect for moisturizing the skin and softening the beard hair, making it looked shiny and groomed. If you have trouble with itchy, flaky skin, under and around your beard, and/or unruly and dry facial hair you would definitely benefit from using a beard conditioning product.
Jojoba is a versatile product that can be used for a wide variety of applications. Massage, aromatherapy, and skin care are the most common uses, but we hear of other creative uses from our customers frequently. Jojoba is also used in many applications that are not related to personal care. Can we come up with a list for 101? With your help we think we can. We'd love to hear your creative or common uses for jojoba. Let us know how you use HobaCare jojoba. If you have a business or blog make sure you include that so we can link to your website.
Naturally we try to find as many uses for jojoba as possible. Since jojoba is a natural product, it’s ecologically friendly if we can use it for in place of chemicals for various applications. Now that we are in the height of winter we wanted to share a use that we have found to be quite useful. Using jojoba to wax snow shovels!
(this shovel has not had an application of jojoba, you can see the snow is sticking to the blade)
I just wanted to email to say that I'm so in love with Jojoba.
After more than 20 years of practice I have used numerous products. The Jojoba Oil is superior to any and all.
I love your stuff. I've been using it for years and refuse to use anything else. I've tried them all. Your jojoba, is by far, the best available.
My clients love Jojoba; it washes out of sheets and clothing easily, and it makes my work easier. The absence of fragrance is especially nice. I highly recommend it!
We have been using Hobacare for nearly two years now and have found our family's skin is amazing looking - which is truly a feat considering the eczema and dry skin that so plagues us!
After 35 radiation treatments I recommended your product to my friend for his burns. Like magic it is soothing and healing the area. Wonderful jojoba. Thank you.
There are some Maine products that serve us well through the sweltering days of August to the frigid days of January and every day in between. Jojoba is one of them!
I've been a masseuse for eleven years and your jojoba extract is the best stuff I've ever used! It's economical, clean, and every one of my clients like it.
The very best thing about jojoba is that is does not become rancid and aids in the integrity of essential oils.
Every one of your claims are true - the lack of staining and smell, the affinity with the skin, and my clients love that they don't get up from the table feeling like greased pigs (my words). Of course, as a massage therapist, none of that would matter if the grip and glide weren't perfect... and they are.
