HobaCare vs. HobaCare Organic

Jojoba Product images - Organic vs. Pesticide FreeThe Original Jojoba Company provides first-press, unrefined, golden, pesticide-free jojoba (sometimes refered to as jojoba oil, although is chemically different than an oil). All of our jojoba has been processed in accordance with organic standards. One cannot tell the difference between the non-organic jojoba and the organic jojoba even after applying them to the skin.

We cannot certify the non-organic HobaCare Jojoba and HobaCare Baby as organic for one of two reasons:

  1. The seeds harvested for the jojoba are from fields that are in transition from pesticide-free to organic, or
  2. The seeds are from fields that were farmed conventionally, and the growers used commercial fertilizers -- NOT certified organic fertilizers -- on the plants that produce the jojoba seeds pressed for our pesticide-free jojoba. The use of conventional fertilizers makes organic certification impossible.

Our Certified 100% HobaCare Organic Jojoba and HobaCare Baby Organic have been grown and processed in accordance with the United States Department of Agriculture's National Organic Program (USDA NOP). Our certifier is the Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association (MOFGA), whom the USDA NOP authorizes as certifiers.

After 35 radiation treatments I recommended your product to my friend for his burns. Like magic it is soothing and healing the area. Wonderful jojoba. Thank you.

I don't know what I did before I started using your product.
It is by far the finest skin care product I have ever used.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I have had the pleasure of working with your excellent Jojoba for 11 years as a massage therapist and also for personal use. I have occasionally tried other highly regarded massage oils and lotions over the years but always come back to your product. It is simply the best!

After reading that it was not toxic for animals, I treated My dog's inflamed area. It was raw, scabby, and quite itchy. I treated the spot directly, massaging through the hair to her skin. I also covered that area with a shirt, to ensure our dog would leave that area alone. Within days, I noticed an improvement.

Every one of your claims are true - the lack of staining and smell, the affinity with the skin, and my clients love that they don't get up from the table feeling like greased pigs (my words). Of course, as a massage therapist, none of that would matter if the grip and glide weren't perfect... and they are.

Sara Garvin, LMT

I just wanted to email to say that I'm so in love with Jojoba.

I also feel good that by using your product I'm doing everything I can to protect the new mother and delicate new life in my care - no chemicals, preservatives, or pesticides here, thank you very much.

Sara Garvin, LMT

The glide is perfect and I have yet to find another product that can rival its positive effects on the skin. And as a therapist who does mostly medical work, it is a wonderful thing to have found a product that none of my clients are allergic to.

Jessica Collishaw

I did a lot of research on what to use on my skin and then where to get it. I know I made the right choice.

I've been a masseuse for eleven years and your jojoba extract is the best stuff I've ever used! It's economical, clean, and every one of my clients like it.
